The Michael Carrick Foundation will be unveiling it’s newest project – Club 16 at a launch event on March 14th.
Club 16 is an exclusive membership initiative that will engage partners and major donors across Manchester giving them special insights into the work of the Foundation and exclusive access to Michael and the associates.
Carefully selected by Michael and the Foundation’s Trustees, the 16 successful members, will receive unique access to money can’t buy opportunities such as private lunches with Michael and accompanied visits to Foundation events and projects. In addition to the 16 members, Club 16 will also accommodate a headline sponsor who will be awarded other exclusive privileges.
The launch in March will enable potential members to find out more about the Club 16 project, how to get involved and how to register their interest to join. During the evening, attendees will also be given a presentation about The Michael Carrick Foundation as well as an opportunity to meet the Foundation staff and Trustees.
Michael will be in attendance with other special guests for networking over champagne and canapés, courtesy of our event partner.
Michael said: “We have been overwhelmed by how the community has come together so far to support the Foundation projects and we want to build on this. Club 16 is the next step in raising vital funds to develop more opportunities for the young people of Greater Manchester and Tyne and Wear to feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve.”
As part of this project, the Foundation has provided a team of Manchester Metropolitan University students with the invaluable opportunity of assisting in the design, development and running of the launch, once again reinstating the Foundation’s core values of giving back. Leanne Dingle, Foundation Manager, said: “We could have chosen a local event management company to help us with this work but we all agreed that it was only fitting to use this project as an opportunity for aspiring young people in Manchester to learn, grow and fulfil their potential.”
The deadline for expressing your interest to attend the launch is Monday 25th of February. The event has limited tickets and is for people genuinely interested in supporting the cause.
